Archive for 'Senior Pictures'

April 21, 2013

Tonight we are missing the annual dinner our church has to honor our seniors. Todd and I are so sad because we are missing for the first time EVER and we have some WONDERFUL kids at Fellowship Bible graduating and moving on to the next step in their lives.

Camdon Woodruff is one of those young people who has a special place in the life of my family.  Whether it was church activities or many sleepovers or trips with our families, we have sure enjoyed  seeing him grow up to be a great young man.  There were also the Sunday afternoons playing front yard football or playing in the “creek” down the street which my son says were some of “the best times ever.” And there was an unfortunate incident in an IHOP in Dallas once. I won’t go into that, but it sure does make it near the top of our  Cam memories!

But my favorite Cam memory is when he went to the beach with us many summers ago. We told Tucker he could take a friend and he said he knew just who he wanted to take–Cam. He had never been to the beach, and I guess it was some sort of miracle he didn’t have some sport to play that week so he got to go with us. Anyway, our trip down there was a little longer than usual. We were stopped on the highway  for over an hour and everyone was anxious to get there.

When we finally arrived we went right out to the beach so Cam could see it before darkness came. Without saying a word, just like it was the perfectly natural thing to do, Cam ran straight out into the water with his clothes on! He was so excited to be there and he wasn’t going to miss the chance to jump right in!

Cam, we sure hope you keep this same attitude as you start this new chapter in your life. Stay close to the Lord so you can navigate the amazing path we know He has mapped out for you. Don’t look left or right or worry about what anyone thinks about diving right in–clothes and all! We are so proud of you! May God bless you and keep you!

Would you like to have the digital images Kimberly took of your family, senior, baby or wedding over the last 10 years?

After 10 years in business I can say I probably have 95% of every image I’ve taken for my wonderful clients! You can just imagine the number of cd’s, dvd’s and external hard drives that fill my studio workroom. Technology has changed so much in a decade, and my method of storing images has evolved with it. So I say it’s time to—

This is why I’m offering this ONE TIME ONLY opportunity! Beginning today through March 20, 2013, I am offering my past clients their proofed images on dvd with full printing rights. You can use these images to make more prints, use electronically on social media or simply archive for the future.

This will be the ONLY opportunity to do this as I now offer digital files to my current clients when they order their images. Please help me “spread the word” to your family and friends who have been my clients as I probably do not have current contact information on some of my past clients. I don’t want anyone to miss this opportunity!

Here’s the pricing and how it will work–

First session ordered is $150. Each additional session after the first session is $100. (Plus 9% sales tax)

Wedding images are $250.

Shipping is $7.

This special pricing is only available to clients who have placed a past order. Current pricing will apply to first time orders.

Digital files will be released “as is” (which means the way they were presented to you as proofs). Additional retouching will be $25 per image.

Here’s how to order your digital files—

  1. Contact the studio by email at, or by phone 501.279.1515.
  2. Kimberly will need your name, year of the shoot or approximate timeframe and brief description if you’ve had several sessions (Ex: Mary Smith would like Sally Smith’s senior session from 2006 and Johnny’s newborn session from 2004) and a phone number to reach you.
  3. After getting this information Kimberly will confirm that the images are available and will contact you to make payment and pickup arrangements.
  4. Orders will be filled in the order in which they are received.

I’m so excited about this opportunity for my wonderful clients and my cramped studio workroom is excited too!!

Well, her things are packed and she will soon be on her way! We met her when she was a snaggle toothed little girl and have watched her become a beautiful young woman. What a joy that has been, and what a joy it will be to see the wonderful things God has planned for her!  Why do I feel as if Ouachita Baptist University will never be the same after she arrives on campus? We love you, Morgan!

August 02, 2012

The memories just flood into my mind as I think of all the fun times my family has had with this young man. I could write forever. From front yard ball games and fierce competition in the swimming pool to the homespun plays and videos produced, and the many trips and sleepovers.  I could tell some good stories—but then he would hunt me down! Let’s just say he may or may not have been dressed up in tutus by some girls and had some lipstick applied—but that was a long time ago! Here are some interesting and great things about Trace:

He’s a diehard Hog fan.

He’s really good with directions. (Sounds kind of random, but it’s true!)

He’s the voice of reason.

He has a heart for people and an even bigger heart for kids.

He knows who he is.

He wants to make a difference—and has.

He’s a good brother to his own and several others.

We will miss you Trace! May God bless you beyond your wildest expectations, and may He use you to bless this world beyond our wildest expectations!

I guess it was about 15 years ago. I had gotten my oldest off to school and had parked my preschooler in front of cartoons (GASP!) so I could get ready for the day. I decided to take a look downstairs to make sure all was well, and I saw two little heads instead of one. It was little Erin from next door. She had walked over in her pajamas without her momma knowing, and Tucker had unlocked the front door, let her in, and locked it back. She was snuggled up by him on the couch quiet as a mouse like nothing was out of order. Between the two of them they took up about half a cushion. I can’t remember if she had her “this and that” with her which was a pacifier and a hair roller (yes, a roller from a set of electric curlers). I do remember the sweet little smile looking up at me.

Well, the baby of the five little stairsteps between our houses has graduated! And another thing—that little tiny girl became the tallest of the bunch!  A lot of fun was had among them and many others in the neighborhood—and many times at Erin’s expense. She was tossed around like a rag doll in all their shows and productions.  There are so many great “Erin” stories!

I look across the street from my window and see the new neighbor children who have recently moved in, and I realize that I know a secret their parents don’t know yet—the brevity of childhood.  But today I will celebrate the beautiful (with a capital B!), Christian woman Erin has become! So proud of you , Erin!
